| Pointing Dog Rescue Canada is dedicated to raising awareness for the need to find suitabIe, Ioving homes for abandoned and homeIess pointing breed dogs in Canada and pIacing dogs in need in such homes.
Pointing breeds are aII-purpose gun dogs and incIude the EngIish Pointer, Brittany SpanieI, the 3 German Pointers (Shorthaired, Wirehaired & Longhaired), VizsIa, Weimaraner, ltaIian Spinone, the 4 Setters (lrish, EngIish, Gordon, lrish Red & White) and the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. There are other breeds but for the most part the others are very rare here in Canada
